Gareth Southgate: Man United managerial links 'not a consideration'
England manager Gareth Southgate says he is not interested in the Manchester United job and it is "not a consideration"

Gareth Southgate has ruled himself out of the running to become Manchester United manager, saying it is "not a consideration" for him.
The England boss has been linked with the Old Trafford hotseat following United's poor start to the season, which has seen them lose two of their opening three Premier League games.
But Southgate, who is contracted to the FA until 2024, insists he is fully focused on his job with England and has no desire to leave.
"I don't think it's a consideration," Southgate said when asked about the United job. "I'm very clear that my focus is on England and my job here."
Southgate has been in charge of England since 2016 and has led the team to the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup and the final of Euro 2020.
He is contracted to the FA until 2024 and has said he wants to lead England into the next World Cup, which will be held in Qatar in 2022.
Southgate's comments will come as a blow to Manchester United, who are on the lookout for a new manager following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Red Devils have been linked with a number of potential replacements for Solskjaer, including Mauricio Pochettino, Erik ten Hag and Brendan Rodgers.
But Southgate's decision to rule himself out of the running means United will have to look elsewhere for their next manager.
