Animated GIFs Now Supported in Microsoft Outlook
New Feature Adds Visual Interest to Emails
GIFs Can Now Be Sent and Received in Outlook
In a major update to its email platform, Microsoft Outlook now supports animated GIFs. This new feature allows users to add visual interest to their emails by including GIFs that play automatically when the email is opened.
To add a GIF to an email in Outlook, simply click the "Insert" tab and then select "Pictures." From there, you can browse your computer for the GIF you want to insert. Once you've selected a GIF, it will be added to your email as a static image. When the recipient opens the email, the GIF will begin to play automatically.
This new feature is supported in both the desktop and web versions of Outlook. It is also compatible with most email clients, including Gmail and Yahoo Mail.
